Auto repair in the United States is split between independent shops, dealership service departments and national chains. Independents handle most routine work (oil changes, brakes, tune-ups, check-engine diagnostics) at lower labor rates and often specialize in one make or in imports; dealers keep factory tools, software and warranty authority; chains sell speed and standard pricing on maintenance items. Most shops charge a diagnostic fee, credited toward the repair if you go ahead, and quote parts and labor separately. Certification matters: look for ASE-certified technicians and, in many states, a state repair license posted at the counter. Written estimates are required by law in most states before work begins, and you are entitled to your old parts if you ask.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are Open 24 hours. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (971) 419-6162. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.

Danny provided a Pre Purchase Inspection (PPI) for 2 vehicles I was considering buying. The inspections were adequate. I understand that it is difficult to catch everything, especially if one can't lift the vehicle. However, there were some things that were missed with the vehicle I ended up buying. A few of these things seem alil obvious to catch: (1) an engine oil leak, (2) the heat did not work, (3) the control arms are worn and need to be replaced. The main reason I'm not very satisfied with the service is because before we confirmed the appointment, I asked if I'd receive written inspection reports after he finished. He guaranteed that I would and that "inspections are his speciality." However, after waiting alil while after the inspections, I asked him for the reports and he told me that his secretary was going to write them up. So, then I waited a few days and reached out to him again about the reports and told him they're part of the service I paid for. Danny never replied to me. He lied to me about his service. I would say that PPI's are something he does, but they are not his specialty, and don't expect to receive it in writing after his completion.

Not the best communication from him. I asked what the total cost for repair to be. He gave me a half answer so I asked again and he ghosted me. Not very professional. EDIT: This is a reply to your false reply. Yes, I'm π― % sure I have the right company. You don't have my name on your work orders because you were unprofessional and I didn't use you. I called you on Friday. You said you didn't know if you had time that day because you don't keep your schedule on you (red flag #1). Then you text me later saying you did have availability. I responded asking the all-in price and your reply only talked about a mobile fee and a diagnostic fee. I replied asking for the cost of the battery and you never responded. Instead of deflecting, maybe you could just own your lack of professionalism and do better.

Scheduled a time at 2pm to diagnose issue with my 2007 Corolla. Danny showed up almost 2 hours early without more than a few minutes notice. I was not at home as we had agreed on 2pm. He was able to work with my wife and provide a diagnosis of a new fuel pump needed. Told us to purchase the part and then schedule a time with him to do the work. We have tried contacting Danny via call and text multiple times. He responded once saying he is too busy to do the work. He has not responded to further messages and has essentially ghosted us. I have no idea if the diagnosis he performed is actually valid and if the fuel pump replacement is even what we need. I now need to hire another mechanic to complete the work. Donβt waste your time and money with this guy. Edit to respond: Danny, Iβm sorry but your telling of the situation is not true. I never once asked you to do the work right away or only when worked for me. In fact I said multiple times that there is no rush and I just wanted to get something on the books. I texted, then called with no response. You eventually got back to me stating that you were unable to book more than two weeks out and that I should try getting in touch in a

I hired Dannyβs Mobile Mechanic LLC to replace the brakes on my 2019 VW Atlas. During the job, I get a text saying come down. He shows me the caliper piston popped out and brake fluid leaked everywhere. I asked Danny several times if we needed to bleed the brakes, and he said no. After he finished, the brake pedal went to the floor, and there was a heavy grinding sound. When I asked if that was normal, Danny said, βYes, they just need to wear down.β I later took the car to Les Schwab, where they found the rear brake pads were installed backwards and the front clips werenβt installed correctly. The improper installation caused severe damage to the rear rotors and brakes, which had to be replaced β costing $900. Do not use his services. He is not reliable, nor is he a professional This guy is a scammer!!! If you put somebodyβs brakes on backwards and they call you 30 minutes afterwards, you should come right back and fix the job. The $900 in damages is due to the back brakes being put on backwards and severely damaging the rotors, and obviously the brake pads. I took my vehicle to Les Schwab. Not some corner auto shop. Danny is deflecting responsibility! Iβm sure Danny wi
